SPIRITUAL FORMATION... is a term used to describe the work of God in our life such that the character of Christ Jesus is "formed" in us and overflows to others. (Galatians 4:19)
As believers...
when we understand and fully grasp that our real life is hidden in Christ, the formation of our soul takes a new turn. We begin to embrace the importance of silence, solitude and surrender through prayer.
The Apostle Paul puts it this way: "Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory."
